Agreement and operator
Aura is operated by ParathoughtLabs, a Texas limited liability company. By accessing an authorized pre-alpha build, you agree to these terms, the Privacy & Cookie Notice, and the Community Standards. If you do not agree, do not use Aura or upload content.
Eligibility and accounts
Aura's current account model is for adults who are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. Keep account credentials confidential, provide accurate information, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Child and managed-minor accounts are not offered.
Acceptable use and community safety
Do not use Aura to harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, defraud, spam, discriminate, violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, distribute unlawful or nonconsensual intimate material, organize unlawful activity, or evade a safety restriction. Do not scrape the service, probe accounts, upload malware, defeat access controls, or interfere with availability.
Users are responsible for events and content they create. ParathoughtLabs may restrict access, preserve necessary evidence, remove content, or cooperate with lawful requests when reasonably required for safety, security, legal compliance, or enforcement of these terms. Production launch remains blocked until staffed moderation and appeal operations are available. Aura prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation as described in its published child-safety standards.
Events, plans, and location
Hosts are responsible for event accuracy, permissions, capacity, safety, accessibility, cancellations, refunds, and compliance with applicable law. Aura recommendations, routes, friend locations, availability, and planning estimates are coordination aids, not guarantees. Use judgment and follow venue, carrier, emergency, and local-authority instructions.
Aura does not offer a paid subscription or process in-app payments in the current pre-alpha service. It also does not transfer Aura Balance or request advertising. Disabled integration code does not create a purchase or financial offer. Any future activation requires updated terms and notices, native-store rules where applicable, provider approval, and an affirmative user transaction or consent flow. Prices shown for public events or places are informational and any registration occurs under the organizer's disclosed terms.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you are entitled to upload. You grant ParathoughtLabs a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate the features and audiences you select, maintain safety, and comply with law. You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions for people, music, brands, locations, and other material included in your content.
Testing availability and changes
Pre-alpha features may be incomplete, unavailable, changed, or discontinued without notice. Do not rely on testing data as your only record of an event, ticket, travel plan, or memory. ParathoughtLabs may suspend access to protect users or the service.
Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the pre-alpha service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Final production warranty, limitation-of-liability, dispute, and governing- law provisions require review by qualified counsel before public release.
Ending access
You may stop using Aura and initiate deletion through the in-app account controls or the online deletion request. ParathoughtLabs may suspend or terminate access for material violations, risk to users, legal requirements, or service security. Production account deletion, retention, export, and appeal behavior will be described in the final terms and privacy policy.
